Pupil Premium

Pupil Premium Funding 2016/ 2017

What is the pupil premium?

The pupil premium is additional funding given to schools to ensure that the disadvantaged pupils in our school are effectively supported to overcome any barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. The funding will ensure that as a group, those in receipt of Pupil Premium (PP) funding, achieve at least in line with the average for non-disadvantaged pupils nationally or that any differences in their achievement are decreasing.

The amount of funding we get depends on the number of children who are registered for free school meals (FSM), those who have been entitled during the last six years (Ever6), the number of children who are looked after and in the care of the local authority (CLA) and Service children.
